SAT
(Scholastic Aptitude Test)
SAT® is an entry and scholarship criteria into most of the best and highly ranked schools in the United States . It is a test of Mathematical and Verbal reasoning. High scores in the SAT® will automatically qualify students to gain entry into the best schools to compete for merit based scholarships.
SAT® is scored on a scale of 200-800 (for math, reading and writing) amounting to a total score of 2400 and is typically taken by high school juniors and seniors. The test is offered several times a year.
The essay, which is graded by two examiners, is scored on a scale of 1-6 (low to high)
